Zoya Pixie Dust: Miranda and OPI Mariah Carey: The Impossible

The Impossible purchased by me
Miranda sent for review

Today's pair is one that I thought would be a much closer match than it is! Pictures and reviews after the jump.

When the OPI/Mariah Carey collaboration came out, I reviewed The Impossible here.  Looking at The Impossible and Miranda in the bottle, I thought they were going to be dupes, but I was so very wrong.  The Impossible is a hot pink, with larger glitters in addition to the textured glitter.  Miranda is a dustier rose-pink with finer glitter.

Miranda only needed two coats for complete coverage.  The formula was a bit thick, but still easy to work with, and the dry time was about 20 minutes.  It's very textured when dry, but still sparkly.

Miranda and The Impossible are absolutely not even close to being dupes, so if you like sparkly, textured pink polishes, they'll both be welcome additions to your stash.

OPI is available at salons, some retail stores and in Ulta's stores and on Ulta's website.  Zoya is available at salons, in some Ulta stores and at Zoya's website.  Both polishes retail for $9 (plus tax and shipping where applicable).
